Students from class 11th to postgraduate level can apply for Digital Gujarat Scholarship 2022. They must also ensure that the forms must be filled before the last date. How can I apply for the scholarship online?:


Post Matric Scholarship Schemes for 2020-21 (Within State/Outside State) are online schemes. To apply online kindly visit the website through URL: digitalgujarat.gov.in

Who can apply online under these scholarship scheme?


Students from the state of Gujarat, whether within the state or outside the state, within India, having a valid Aadhaar (UID) certificate and fulfilling the scheme specific guidelines are eligible to apply under these scholarship schemes.



What is the last date for submission of online application?


For Post Matric Scholarship: In case of scholarship for the year 2020-21, students can apply online. As notified from time to time by newspapers and Digital Gujarat Portal.

Is there an Application ID?


Yes. Once the application is registered, the candidate will be provided with an Application ID, which will be communicated to the candidates through SMS and e-mail. Students should note down their Application ID as it will be required in future.

Can I apply afresh if I am a renewal student?


Yes, for the first time in the year 2017-18 every student has to apply as a fresh candidate.

Do I need to get my Aadhar card to apply for the scholarship?


Aadhar card number is mandatory for the students to fill the online application form. Students can also apply for the scholarship by entering the Aadhar number.



Do I have to fill the online application in more than one sitting?


Yes, you can fill the online application in as many sittings as you like till you are satisfied that you have entered all the required fields correctly. The software provides the facility to save your application every step of the way until you click on the last button.

What should I do if I can't find the name of my institution in the drop-down menu?

Students will contact their respective institute.

Which fields are mandatory in the application form?


Fields provided with a red asterisk (*) sign are mandatory fields.

What if I discover mistakes after forwarding the application to the institute?


You should report the mistakes found by you separately to the authority of your institution. The institution must return the application as an incomplete application and then the application will be available to the student for editing.

Can I secure scholarship for last year?


No, the scholarship can be claimed for the current year only. Previous years scholarship cannot be claimed on the online portal

Can I take a print-out of my application at any stage?


After locking and forwarding the application to be submitted at the Institute, a printout of the application with "Barcode" can be taken.


Do I need to scan the certificates and upload them in the system before forwarding the online application to the institute?


Yes, Scanned copy of certificates like Caste certificate, Income certificate, Fee receipt, Disability certificate (if any), Hostel certificate, Copy of first page of pass book (showing IFSC code of the bank) in the system Uploading facility is available. and Bank Account Number) However, the student has to submit the self-attested copies of the required documents along with the print out/hard copy of the application.


What to do after submission of online application?


After locking the application online and forwarding it to the institute, you should take a print out of the application (it will come with a barcode), sign it and submit it along with the documents to the institute.

Can I apply scholarship after the last date?


Until the date is extended, you cannot apply because Digital Gujarat portal will not allow registration, so please do it on time.

How to check the status of my application?


The student can check the status of the online application by logging in with his/her login details.

You can contact your institute and inform about the error.

What should I do, if by mistake, I select wrong category and apply for wrong scheme?


You have to contact your institute and inform about the error, so that your wrong application can be rejected permanently.


How can I apply for the scholarship if I am a student of an institute located outside Gujarat?
